Mark turned up to open the house this morning to find the plumber (as miserable as before), two gyprockers, two electricians and four (!) painters ready to start work. Good start.
So hopefully some big steps forward today. As usual, the plumber shook his head and said – ‘oh I won’t be finished until tomorrow – can’t possibly line the walls today.’ Mark gave him a spray and told him to get on with it, the gyprockers said no worries they’d work around him and the painters smiled and said…dust? No worries mate. Don’t ya have to love the Aussies...plumber must be a Pommie though!
By the end of the day, Mark said it looked like a new place already. His favourite part is the ceilings!
